That is the reason that any good headache remedy is going to start with you discovering exactly why you have a headache in the first place. After all, if you're suffering from a sinus headache, it would do you know good to treat it as if you were suffering from a migraine. Yes, you may be able to get a little bit of relief on a temporary basis but you need to treat things naturally at the root of the cause, not simply look at the effect of what is causing it. Sometimes, a headache remedy may come in the form of temporary relief as well. After all, we may not suffer from headaches on a regular basis and we are just looking for the way to bridge the gap until we overcome the one that we have. Believe it or not, ice is one of the most effective ways for you to overcome a headache although it is very rarely used. Simply put a little bit of ice in a Ziploc bag and then apply it to the area that is hurting. The numbing effect of the ice will have an almost immediate response and then by keeping it there for a little while, you will eventually overcome the headache completely. Another natural headache remedy is to apply pressure to the area that is hurting. Sometimes, we need to have somebody else apply the pressure in order to receive the maximum benefit but if this is out of the question in your present circumstances, it helps if you do it yourself. Try rubbing your thumbs onto the store area and really digging in. It might take 10 minutes or so, but usually, relief can be found by doing this.
